Facial Surgery
Blepharoplasty
Eyelid Surgery
This procedure helps improve the appearance of your eyes. Over time, excess skin on the upper eyelids and the development of bags under the lower eyelids can give your eyes a tired and heavy look, making you appear older.
Some patients only complain about excess skin on their upper eyelids, which makes them look fatigued and adds years to their appearance. In more severe cases, it can even limit their field of vision and create a constant feeling of tiredness due to the effort required to keep their eyes open. In such cases, a simple skin excision through upper blepharoplasty is sufficient. In other situations, patients, even at a young age, may complain about the bags that form under their lower eyelids, giving them a tired, exhausted, and swollen appearance. This is caused by the herniation of fat in the lower eyelid, which can be corrected with lower blepharoplasty.
Restore a fresh, youthful look to your eyes without altering their shape, achieving a very natural result.
It’s common to seek this surgery starting around age 40. However, due to the genetic and hereditary nature of eyelid issues, it’s not unusual for some patients to desire this procedure as early as their 20s.

Have Questions?
Here, you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions. However, if you still have any concerns, don't hesitate to contact me.
How long does the surgery take?
Eyelid surgery typically lasts between 1 to 2 hours.
What are the scars like from this surgery?
The incisions (scars) are placed in the natural creases of the eyelids. For the upper eyelid, the incision is located about 1 cm from the free edge of the eyelid (eyelashes).
When patients have bags under the lower eyelids, these can be removed through an incision inside the eyelid, leaving no visible scar. If there is also excess skin, it can be removed through a cut along the lash line, leaving the scar completely camouflaged.
What type of anesthesia is used?
Depending on the type of blepharoplasty you need, we will choose the appropriate anesthesia for you.
How long is the recovery time?
It’s ideal to take 5 days of rest after the procedure, frequently apply ice around the eyes during the first few days post-op, avoid sun exposure, and limit physical activity.
Will the surgery change the shape of my eyes?
The primary goal of the surgery is to improve the overall appearance of your eyes and the effects of aging without changing the essence or shape of your eyes. Although you may look different due to swelling in the first few days, as the swelling subsides, you will start to see the results.
Will the surgery remove my dark circles?
Lower blepharoplasty can remove bags and excess skin, but dark circles and the dark coloration around the eyes have different causes. While the appearance may improve somewhat, they will not disappear completely.
Will crow's feet wrinkles disappear with the surgery?
The fine wrinkles around the eyes, known as crow’s feet, will not disappear with this surgery. For that, other treatments like Botox are recommended.
It’s time to boost your confidence and unlock your inner strength.
