Mastopexy

Breast Lift

There are several conditions that can cause breasts to sag. In younger patients with very heavy and voluminous breasts, this can happen prematurely. Additionally, sagging may occur after pregnancy and breastfeeding due to the rapid changes in breast size, significant weight loss, or simply as a result of aging and the effects of gravity.

When performing a mastopexy, our primary goal is to restore the shape of the breasts, lift them, and reposition them to their ideal anatomical position. Replacing the areola in its optimal position is a fundamental part of the procedure.

To achieve this elevation, we have several techniques available: periareolar, which leaves a scar only around the areola for breasts with mild sagging; vertical, for moderate sagging; and inverted T or anchor, for those with severe sagging or ptosis.

Firmer, fuller breasts with a more natural and youthful appearance.

If you are not satisfied with the size and shape of your breasts but do not wish to incorporate implants, this procedure will provide you with satisfactory and harmonious results.

The duration of this surgery is approximately 3 hours and is performed under outpatient general anesthesia, meaning it does not require hospitalization.

Not always. If you are satisfied with the size of your breasts before the surgery, a mastopexy will be sufficient to lift your breasts and give them the desired shape. If, on the other hand, you wish to increase the size, an implant can be placed, or a fat transfer from your own body can be performed to enhance the size slightly.

It should be worn for the first month; after that, you can wear a bra of your choice.

Immediately after surgery, you may experience a decrease in sensitivity, but this will gradually return over the following months, potentially taking up to two years to normalize.

The results of the surgery will be long-lasting, but it is important to understand that no surgical procedure can combat the effects of aging and gravity.

It's time to find the beauty in every corner of your being.
